Job Overview
Support procurement activities for trading operations, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, preparing purchase orders, and coordinating deliveries to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.
Responsibilities
1. Prepare and issue RFQs to supplier based on client’s requirements and specifications.
2. To follow up with supplier for quotations submission and clarifications.
3. To ensure all technical documents such as technical datasheet (if applicable) is submited along with quotations.
4. To develop and maintain good relationship with suppliers to get priority treatment such as faster quotes and urgent prioritize delivery.
5. To estimate logistics costs accurately.
6. To negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines with suppliers to optimize cost and value.
7. To create and issue Purchase Orders in alignment with quotations, delivery schedules, and internal approval processes.
8. To track delivery schedule and update Purchase Orders status.
Requirements / Qualifications
1. Minimum 1–2 years of relevant sourcing or procurement experience, preferably in oil & gas,manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
2. Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, datasheets, and drawings related to equipment, parts,or materials.
3. Basic product and material knowledge in oil and gas industry.
4. Able to handle urgent sourcing enquiry.
